Ethan's View - Clifty Falls State Park Campground, Indiana

Hi! I’m Ethan — a kid who loves camping, hiking, and exploring new places. Today, I’m excited to tell you all about Clifty Falls State Park in Indiana!

First Impressions

Hiking at Clifty Falls

Clifty Falls has a ton of space! You can walk your dog in the big grassy areas or take them for a stroll along the many roads around the park. There’s plenty of room to run and explore. One downside to all that space, though, is that there aren’t a lot of actual camping spots — which can make it harder to get a reservation and might bump up the price. But honestly? It’s still worth it!

What’s There to Do?

While the park doesn’t have a huge list of attractions, it does have an amazing swimming pool just a short walk away. Perfect for cooling off on a hot day! There’s also a small camp store that somehow manages to have everything you need — and even more.

And if you’re into hiking like I am, you’re in luck! There are some really cool trails where you can see waterfalls, rocky cliffs, and even small caves. Bring good shoes and be ready for some awesome views!

Campground Details

Now, the campground doesn’t come with every single thing you might need. For example, there’s no water hook-up at every site and you won’t find any internet. But, there is a shower house, lots of open space, a campfire ring, and a bench at most sites. Just know that not every campsite is the same — so some might have different stuff than others.
