5 things you need for your dog

Ethan knows a thing or two about taking care of a furry friend while on the road. These two have been exploring campsites together for quite some time. So, when he wants to write an article during our trip from the Midwest to Florida about what he thinks you need to keep the pup happy and occupied... it is worth a read!

Ethan's Things You Need For Camping With Your Dog

If you are planning to bring your dog on a camping trip with you, you will need some things to keep them fresh. Here’s a list of some things you could consider buying for your next camping trip with your fluffy friend to keep them safe, happy, and good-looking.

I really love this product for multiple reasons, but the #1 reason is the fact that it is friendly for dogs and doesn’t hurt them. Usually, dog’s paws will be very sensitive when it comes to something like this, but surprisingly, it doesn’t hurt them at all. All you have to do is fill it up with some soap and water, then it’s ready to be used. Just put your dog’s paw in the cup, then move it a bit, a little bit more, and then Bang! Your dog’s paws are cleaner than they ever were before!

Dog Paw Cleaner

This is a very important product if you and your dog go on hikes frequently. As we know, dogs love to walk and run, and as someone who loves animals, when I see a dog in a dangerous or extreme forest/hike, the first thing I think of is “Is that dog safe.” The only thing touching the dirty, stinky, dangerous ground on a dog is their paws. So it is important to care for their paws.

Dog Paw Protection

Both humans and dogs need water to survive, humans carry water in water bottles. But dogs do it differently, they carry their water in collapsible water bowls! Well, their humans do… but it is still useful for dogs. Carry these collapsible water bowls in a car, camper, on a hike, anywhere!

Dogs love sleeping, they do it all the time. If your dog is a big sleeper like ours then you should get them something to keep them happy and relaxed while dozing off. Most people wouldn’t want this because they say “My dog is comfortable wherever he sleeps!” WRONG! Your dog is only sleeping on the dirty stairs because that is their only option, it would help if you gave them more options, like this bed. This bed is preferably placed outside but can be placed almost anywhere. This bed will keep your dog happy and energized for their next exciting camping adventure.

Outdoor Dog Bed

Sometimes we need our own time, and dogs kind of prevent that. So the solution? Give them their own free time. How do you do that? Give them a bone, a stuffed one at that. Our dog, Stella, is always chewing on a stuffed bone, and boy do they work. Sometimes I forget that she is even there. These bones are a must have because dogs love bones and flavor that keeps them occupied for hours.
